Hello everyone and welcome to my Blog. My name is John and I would like to welcome you to the new The Tech Basement blog. I have been in the I.T. Business for the past 15 years. I am an I.T. Consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area and also a PC Systems builder. I will be discussing a variety of topics in the blog. Ranging from how to protect yourself from not getting viruses and spyware on your computer to helping you choose what hardware choices you should make for next computer. I will be discussing both Windows and Mac as both are equally important nowadays. This blog is intended to help everyone from a novice to an expert because after all we learn something new everyday.
