Sunnyvale startup Retrevo.com has just announced its newest innovation in gadget shopping; the Technology Lifecycle Curve (“TLC”), a graph that tells shoppers how old a gadget’s features are. Now people shopping for HDTVs, for example will know if technology features like “720p” are still relevant in today’s market. The “TLC” is available for HDTVs, Cameras, Printers, and Laptops, and will tell shoppers if a gadget’s features are new, mainstream, in decline, or about to retire. Retrevo has also created shopping advisor pages, which serve as quick-reference guides to educate shoppers about printers, HDTVs, laptops, and cameras.
